Painting the room...

We're finally getting the baby (toddler) room together! Here is John and Haley at work painting the room. We're doing a Noah's Ark nighttime theme. It's very cute with the boat, animals, ocean and stars. The paint is going to be dark yellow on top and sea blue on the bottom to match the boarder and the other items we bought. Auntie Karen (our interior design expert) has been a big help with the colors, curtains and other details...thanks KK!

Good Dogs

They can't wait for our new baby boy too. Someone new to run around and play ball with....fun...

Rocky & Chloe

Here are our dogs Rocky and Chloe. We're going to miss them a lot too. :( They will probably get a little home sick at the kennel because they are somewhat spoiled at home. They are good dogs.

November Birthdays

Our new baby boy has a birthday in November just like Haley and Dad (John.) Haley is 6, her soon-to-be brother is 2 and John doesn't want to admit his age lol. We will now have 6 birthdays in November in our families including Uncle Joe, Auntie Chris and Auntie Robin.

Hi Everybody. I just want to clarify that you can still email me while I'm there. Don't feel that you have to post a message on here to contact me etc. The blog is mainly to keep a diary of the adoption process to show pictures and tell what's going on to all at home when we are there. This blog is also a learning tool for others going through this same process so they know what the steps are and what you may experience when you go there. Thanks for all your well wishes. We received our visa's today! We're going to miss Haley and the dogs so much. 11 days to go.
